Case Study

Account Services Inc. Seattle & Redmond, WA

J.R. Hudson, owner of Account Services, Inc.:

"We provide accounting and bookkeeping services. We have employees working in the field managing the accounting function for client companies. Keeping track of our employees’ time and work client locations has always been a real chore for us. We made do with various software tools we had at our disposal, but we were always frustrated at the fact they did not integrate. We had on-line calendaring, home-grown contact management software, and hours-tracking software, but even with these, we made a lot of phone calls, sent a lot of emails, did a lot of electronic file transfers, and performed lot of manual keying of data to get ready for each payroll and client billing cycle."
"Also troubling was that in between payroll and billing cycles, we never really had a good handle on how we were performing as a company. It was a very intense effort often taking up to three days to gather the information needed to bill our clients and to pay our employees. Only afterwards did we know how well we performed for a period. The only Internet component we had, a calendar program, was not reliable, and we had no customer detail available from the Internet. The software we used for tracking hours was an in-house application, and none of these applications interfaced with our accounting software." J.R. Hudson, Account Services, Inc.
"After only a couple months using BizScheduler, we cut our office time for performing these tasks by half, while doubling our awareness about what was happening in the field. We refer now to the days before BizScheduler as the 'Dark Ages' -- it was that dramatic a change for us. Our Seattle office manager says: 'I not only finish my task sooner each cycle, I can now happily provide my required reports on how our office is performing with ease.' For me, as a business owner, I now have a better handle on our operation. Having BizScheduler is like having a new friendly employee. Also, of equal importance, is that the company behind the software expresses a real willingness listen to us. This means a lot."

"All in all, we are extremely glad we made the move to BizScheduler!"
